So, today was Wednesday, which are typically a little bit slower days of the week. I mostly see regulars, not too many new people, or people who have memberships and aren’t taking advantage of them. Typically Mondays are the busiest days, because people feel guilty about their decisions over the weekend, or they want to start working towards their goals at the beginning of a new week. Fridays are also a lot busier than many would think. I personally believe it’s because people are preparing for bad decisions they are going to make over the weekend, whether it be poor eating or just not going to the gym, they are trying to workout in advance to prepare for it. One thing I have noticed about my club compared to the couple of other clubs I have worked in, I have a significantly busier club than anyone else in my district. I have around 100-150 people swipe in a day, most of the other clubs have 50 or less. I think that’s because my town is a little bigger and I have more members.

This week, I have spent a lot of time familiarizing myself with what we call The Hub. It is a website created by our parent company, Bandon Fitness, that we do all of our tracking and ordering in. We track all of our sales, cancellations, collections, and frozen accounts in this website on a month to month basis. We also order supplies like business cards, (which I hope I get to order soon) cleaning supplies, office supplies, first aid kit supplies, and small fitness equipment items. We never place large equipment orders on here, because these are only done at certain times of the year, but small stuff, like new pulley attachments or resistance bands, can be ordered here.
