Now that I am working more into the acting manager position, on my 30 “kick start” program, it is really time to start setting the tone for how I want to run my club. I want to show Ashley that I am ambitious enough to run a high volume club. I want to spend a lot of time marketing and meeting new people, which will increase my sales rates, and show that I am capable of running this club and keeping it net positive. At the same time, I really want to work on the culture within my club. I want to make sure I say hi to everyone who walks in the door, and really make people aware that my door is always open. I want to encourage members to come sit in my office and talk whether it be about their day, or an issue they are having, or just hang out for a bit. I welcome it all. I am a people person. I hate being by myself, so I am hoping these members will be able to warm up to a new manager and be accepting of me. I think that’s probably what I am most nervous about. That and under performing of course. I am also a people pleaser, so I try to do what I can to make others happy, especially at work because I want to be liked and appreciated for the hard work I put in. My three biggest goals for the club is to create a more welcoming environment, have over 1,000 members for an entire month, and to grow the Anytime Fitness Celina, Ohio Facebook page.
