Currently, my title with Anytime Fitness is the Assistant General Manager for both the Celina and Wapakoneta, Ohio locations. I am split between two different clubs because assistant general managers only work 15 hours a week in a club, and I was looking for something more full time than that. This way I get to work 15 hours a week in each club and get 60 hours every pay period. Both clubs are located in old Family Video buildings and have a pizza place that shares the building. The Celina club is managed by a girl named Ericka and the Wapak location is managed by a girl named Hannah. I like both of them a lot and get along with them both really well. The Celina club is equipped with multiple kinds of cardio machines, like treadmills, ellipticals, recumbent bikes, and even a Jacobs Ladder. We have a variety of pin weighted machines to work core, arms, and legs, dumb bells ranging between 5 pounds and 100 pounds, 2 pulley machines, and a variety of benches and racks for weight lifting. We even have a Smith Machine. The Wapakoneta location has a lot of similar equipment, but there are some differences. Wapak doesn’t have a Jacobs Ladder, but they do have up to a 125 pound dumbbells.

As far as competition goes, the two locations are only about 30 minutes apart from one another so the competition for one is for the most part the same for the other. In Celina, there is a Snap Fitness on the other side of town. There are not very many people ever there and the facility is very worn down though. There is also a YMCA but it is about half way between Celina and Saint Marys. Many people that I talk to in the Celina club tell me they like it because of how close they are to the facility. Saint Marys is a town half way between Celina and Wapak, and there is a Snap Fitness there as well, so that is competition as well.
