Today was a pretty normal Monday. After the weekend I usually have quite a bit of customer service to take care of just from not being on my work phone over the weekend. I am supposed to save it until after lunch to take care of during customer service time, but I always hate doing that because I am afraid i'll forget. I did have even more customer service items than normal because it was after a club enhancement fee day, but besides that it’s been a fairly normal day. My personal training manager and I knocked out some cleaning first thing in the morning and then I dove into my prospecting outreach until lunch. Then right after lunch I did some more in-depth cleaning around the gym, especially since the club ashen’t been cleaned for two days because of the weekend. Instead of marketing today, I stayed in the club and focused solely on customer service stuff, which took me the entirety of an hour and a half, just like expected. Between the number of calls I had and conversations I had while returning those calls, I was definitely ready for a break from my work phone, so I took a bathroom break and then went out on the floor to chat with some members and see how they are doing and try to introduce myself to some new people as the new general manager. I met a couple of really cool guys named Shaun and Derik, they are regulars so I see them everyday. It was nice to finally get to have some conversation with them and find out more about their lives. I finished my day by doing my delinquency outreach and finishing my prospecting outreach, and then I took some time to analyze how the day went with my personal training manager, because he is fairly new too.
